HOMETOWN: Marin, CA

BIO I started out mountain biking behind my old house with my dad (Gregor Syben) when I was quite young, then I started racing in the NorCal Mountain Bike league, and now I’ll be racing road and mountain at the University of Vermont. Cycling has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and whether it’s biking with friends or racing, it’s something that I wouldn’t be complete without.

BIKE | Specialized Fate – hardtail 29er

WHY DID YOU LOVE OLYMPIC BIKE SHOP? The friendliness and the love that everyone there has for biking.

FUN FACTS | I’m also a competitive Nordic skier and bi-athlete and will be attending UVM next fall.
